So, the iPod works, which is good. Lots of polish and buffing took out most of the scratches and it looks good too. New battery is on the way as is the final dongle in the chain.
Itās funny that it has no Bluetooth. I totally forgot! Iām tempted to use a tiny ESP32 board to add internal Bluetooth, but there is very little space inside. Probably best to just use an external transmitter.
Look, I donāt think debates matter much, especially not Vice Presidential ones. But, by the metric of ānot being a racist piece of š©,ā pretty sure we know who won.
The season two finale for Rings of Power was a little hit or miss. Probably slightly more āhit,ā thankfully. Morfyyd Clark, Robert Aramayo, Charlie Vickers, and Charles Edwards were all excellent, even when they didnāt have great material to work with.
Pretty much everything involving āthe strangerā and the halflings didnāt work for me. I did enjoy seeing a couple of legends singing by the fire. The entire Adar storyline was a bit of a waste of time. Numenor provided relatively inoffensive if not boring moments.
Another shit start to a conference game against an inferior opponent. š Off goes the TV for a bit. Hate slow starts.
Making meatballs and my house smells phenomenal. Get the Yankee Candle guys on the horn, because we have a real banger of a decorative scented candle to design.
The way that iOS and iPad OS handle fonts is ridiculous. Apps can provide fonts as bundled resources, but as far as I can tell there aren't any apps that do. Instead, there are these font management apps that use unsigned VPN profiles to install fonts.
So here is a free iOS app idea that would be incredibly popular with a specific audience. Go to http://nerdfonts.com, select the fonts with liberal licenses (MIT, CC 4, Apache 2.0, etc.), bundle them into an app called "Nerd Fonts" and call it a day.
Awesome birthday surprise from the fam. Iām in a suite at the Intuit Dome for WEEZER! One of my favorite all time bands with my favorite people. Canāt beat it :)
Georgia Tech, yāall. We are driving a clown car over the finish line to squeak by with wins. Iāll take it, of course, but that was excruciating to watch.

This WordPress kerfuffle is getting nastier by the day, and it stems from the ego and entitlement of one person. WordPress is popular because of its community, not because of its technology. Give people a reason to look for a superior platform and they wonāt have to look far.
Take even a cursory look under the hood and youāll find a platform that is so deeply committed to legacy that the only way to make it work at scale is to build insane Rube Goldberg machines.
Yell at WP Engine all you like for not āgiving back,ā but theyāve invested a ton to create a scalable platform for WordPress sites. They give a shit about their customers, and thatās where their effort goes. I will never recommend WordPress going forward. Too much baggage.
Swapped out the battery in my iPod for a brand new, modern one. I also got a 10 GB drive to replace the 5 GB original drive. Unfortunately it was DOA. Iāll have to order a new one.
Catching up on the game after sleeping in late and running some errands. Cam Ward could be the best QB ever to play at Miami. Thatās saying something, given history. The first TD pass today was elite!

My GOODNESS was Carlos quick today. Charles just hasnāt had it this weekend, but he won from P4 last week, so thereās absolutely a podium to play for tomorrow, and I expect Ferrari to overtake Red Bull too. #F1
No, Iām not satisfied with a 22 point win over the Noles. Three FGs in the red zone. Lack of big plays. Giving up a stupid chunk play on a QB sneak. We beat their ass, but it could have been far more embarrassing and that pisses me off.
This Duke-SMU game is drunk as hell. Probably on Chardonnay because itās being played in Durham, but drunk nonetheless.
