Well, this is fun. Amazon sent me a notification that my GPU had arrived. I opened the box, and inside, where the GPU should be was a seven pound weight and a ball of toilet paper. Hooray for thieves.
@mpirnat Yeah I sort of chuckled when I opened the box. Amazon has thankfully dispatched a replacement for delivery tomorrow, which is also when my cooler arrives. With any luck, I’ll finally be able to finish things up tomorrow.

@mpirnat I’m actually driving out to our desert house on Sunday, and will be bringing it all with me to finish up. Blissful peace and quiet for a week haha.

@jonathan Ugh, that sucks. At least you found out right away — I had a Lego kit that was filled with random crap, plus some misc Lego parts for authentic sound when shaken, but waited 18 months to open it. Ended up having to pick it up on eBay since it’d just recently gone “out of print”.
