That said, the shortcomings of the iPad Pro and pencil have been apparent. I have a Daylight DC-1 arriving later this month, and am very curious if it will be a better SketchUp machine. No native app, but there is SketchUp for the web, and the DC-1 comes with a Wacom passive stylus.
@whack Interesting, I’ll definitely check it out. I’ve always had a creative/artistic side, and a deep appreciation for design, but have never found an outlet for it. I can’t draw, but I’m learning that I *can* create in CAD, and its an absolute blast. I’ll take a look at Onshape. SketchUp wants to be used for “big” designs.
@jonathan i started modeling with SketchUp years ago (for 3d printing) but switched to Fusion360, though their relationship with hobbyists is not great; also no mobile designing. Wish I could model on mobile devices which would drive me back to sketch up or maybe onshape!

@jonathan you might have luck with Onshape, though I haven’t tried it yet, it’s free for hobbyists and has an iPad app that lets you design things.
