The Messages app for macOS is so awful these days. Its gotten worse now that Screen Time requests come through iMessage, which I dispise. I constantly see the system process that underpins this feature pegging my CPU.

@jonathan My biggest gripe with it is that if I cmd-tab to quickly switch to it, the text input isn’t focused until I manually click it. It wastes SO much time!
